Artists have a never-ending fascination with each other's art spaces. So I am going to post some shots of mine. This is the refinished attic of our house. That means 3rd floor, folks! That's a lot of stairs to get to heaven!

When you come up the stairs, the main room is on the left.

This is looking from another angle....the chaise is where my westies park themselves! The stairs are there to the right.

These are two moveable work islands in the center of the room. I use one as a tool working center, and the other is where I mostly paint. Behind that is a long counter space for computer and sewing areas.

Again, coming up the stairs and to the right, is the smaller room, where I have a utility sink and some storage. For no good reason, this area is called the 'kitchen'.

In the kitchen, there are 2 doors leading into the storage part of the attic. My friend, Jill Stone, painted this fun Mona Lisa on one of the doors for me. I love her. (both Jill and Mona!) I am trying to decide what to paint on the other door.

....and the view from the 'kitchen' back into the main art room. You can see my book 'stacks' (I have 3 sets of stacks, for a total of 9 bookcases!)...I should call it the library! Stairs at left, in this picture (they come up between the main room and the kitchen.
That concludes our little tour. When you think of me, you will be able to picture me in my natural habitat!
.....till later
