Because my last spread 'fought' with me (regarding a gel medium transfer)...I had to do another one, so it did not get the best of me! Someone set me free of my own self-competition!!!
......until later

well..that IS wonderful.... but I do like the imperfections myself...
Hmmm, something to think about. Is this why we get more angry when our family disappoints us than friends and then strangers?
I can't help you with that self-competition garbage as I need to be set free of it myself! I don't start some projects simply because I am afraid it won't turn out as well as I think I should be able to make it.
I like the texture in this page, too. As for self-competition, can you consider the repeated attempts as something new as 'learning' and well worth the effort? That is what I am working on myself.
Melissa; great projects here! I do understand what you're saying about the transfers; I find them challenging but do like the imperfections that are left with them. I think the ones I'm most happy with are when I do image transfers using transparencies printed on my ink jet but even they offer issues. Enjoy this weather! I'm hoping you are experiencing same as we have in NY - beautiful! xxoo
